LAST WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME

Commemoration Mass: The 6.30 Vigil Mass on next Saturday will be offered for all those whose funerals took place in St Joseph's Church since the First Sunday of Advent 2005. Members or friends of the families will be invited to light a candle in memory of each person.

STAINED GLASS RESTORATION FUND: The monthly collection for the Stained Glass Restoration Fund will take place after all the Masses next Sunday.

Carol Service: There will be a lunch-time Carol Service of Thanksgiving to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Foundation of PEATA, the organization for people and Pets, in St Joseph's Church on Tuesday 5th December at 1.30 pm. All the members who own a Peata Therapy Dog have been invited, together with the residents and staff of the Caring Institutions who receive weekly visits. A large attendance is expected. Our parishioners and friends will also be very welcome. See the Posters in the Church porches.

Sunday Mass Times: Beginning on the first SUNDAY of Advent 3rd December, the Sunday Masses will be at: 6:30pm Vigil, 10:15 am(Family Mass), 11:30am (Choir), and 12:30 pm (Youth Choir).

SAINT JOSEPHS YOUNG PRIESTS’ SOCIETY: Cake, Christmas Gift Sale, Bumper Raffle Sunday 3rd Dec after all Masses. Donations of Cakes and gifts welcome. The monthly meeting of the Glasthule Branch will be held in the Parish Centre on Friday next 1st Dec at 7.00pm. New Members welcome.

THE PRESENTATION BROTHERS: We would like to thank the Presentation Brothers for sharing with us their lead up to the celebration of the feast of "The Presentation of the Blessed Virgin”. It was wonderful to hear from the Brothers at our Masses last weekend. We are particularly grateful to the Brothers for the hospitality they extended to everyone in the Parish to join them after Mass for a cup of tea in their house across the road.

THE ADVENT RETREAT: This Retreat for Ministers of the Eucharist and Ministers of the Word will be held on Sunday 3rd December from 2:15 - 6:00pm at Dunardagh Blackrock. Retreat will be given by Fr Michael Duggan C.S.Sp. All Ministers are requested to attend. Please contact Martin McNamara (2808855) if you cannot attend.
