All Saint’s Day: 1st November is a Holy Day of Obligation. Mass times are: 6.30 (Vigil), 10.00 a.m. and 11.30 a.m.

Feast of the Holy Souls: 2nd November. From 12 o’clock noon on 1st November until midnight on 2nd November, all who have confessed, received Holy Communion, and prayed for the Pope’s intentions (one Our Father and Hail Mary, or any other prayer of one’s choice) can gain one plenary indulgence by visiting a church or oratory, and there reciting one Our Father and the Apostles’ Creed.

Stained Glass Windows: The monthly collection for the Stained Glass Restoration Fund will take place next Sunday 5th November outside the church after all Masses.

Fr Tom Travers, CSsR: died suddenly in Athenry on 23rd November. Fr Travers conducted the Parish Mission in the year 2005. May he rest in peace.

The Mass in 8 Languages: A booklet containing the Ordinary of the Mass in 8 Languages (Latin, Portuguese, Italian, German, French, English, Spanish and Polish) is now available in the Parish Book Shop at the back of the Church.

Mission Sunday: We thank you for your contribution to the Mission Sunday collection, which amounted to €3923.

November List of the Dead: forms for compiling the November list of the dead are now available at the back of the church.

St Joseph’s Young Priests’ Society: The monthly meeting of the Glasthule Branch will be held in the Parish Centre on Friday next 3rd November at 7.00 p.m. New members will be most welcome.

Synge Street CBS Past Pupils: The annual Mass for deceased past pupils and teachers of Synge Street CBS takes place on Sunday 12th November at 10.30 a.m in the School Hall, on Heytesbury Street, Dublin 2.

‘Passion and Power’: The new book written by Fr Shay Cullen “Passion and Power” is now available from 84 Adelaide Road, Glenageary and bookshops. Fr. Shay will be signing his book in Hughes & Hughes, Dun Laoghaire on Wednesday 1st November at 6:30 pm.
