23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time Wed 13th Sep - St John Chrysostom Thu 14th Sep - The Triumph of the Cross Fri 15th Sep - Our Lady of Sorrows Sat 16th Sep - SS Cornelius and Cyprian Mass Times: Please note that for the month of September there will be no 7.30 a.m. Mass on weekdays or 9.00 a.m. Mass on Sundays. Stained Glass Restoration Fund: Many thanks to all who contributed to the collection last Sunday Which amounted to €850. Lectio Divina: The Bible Study group, Lectio Divina meets on Wednesdays at 8.00 p.m. in the Presentation Brothers Residence. All welcome. Family Mass Group: The family Mass group returns to the 10.30 Celebration of Mass today. Children from 2nd to 6th class meet in St Joseph’s Parish Centre each Sunday at 9.30 am. Everyone gets an opportunity to participate in the Mass: processing, reading, singing and drama. There will also be social activities throughout the year, including art & craft nights, carol singing, Christmas pageant, etc. All new members welcome. Just arrive Sunday at 9.30 am in the Parish Centre. (New 1st Class members will be welcome to join us in January 2007.) Registration Forms for new and current members will be available at the entrance of the church, or can be downloaded here. Sunday Saint’s Youth Choir: resume singing at 12.30 Mass today. Rehearsals are on Fridays at 5 p.m as usual. Boys and girls (1st Year upwards) interested in joining can ring Clodagh 2803067. You will be very welcome and you don’t have to be an opera singer! Apostolic Workers: meet Thursdays at 2.00 p.m. in the Parish Centre to make altar linen for the Missions. If you can do any sewing, you would be very welcome to join us. Senior Citizens Club: meet Wednesdays at 2.30 p.m. in the Parish Centre. New members welcone. Coffee Morning: There will be a Coffee Morning in aid of Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross, on Thursday 21st September. Gifts of biscuits very welcome. Coffee Shop: Tea and coffee are available in the Parish Centre after 10.00 a.m. Mass each weekday. Come and meet your friends. Album Released: Our organist Ronan Murray has released his first album of songs entitled “Reasons and Seasons”.
