Nineteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time Mon 14th Aug. - St Maximilian Kolbe Tue 15th Aug. - Assumption of the Blessed Virgin into Heaven Feast of the Assumption: Tuesday 15th August is a Holy Day of Obligation. Mass times: 6.30 Vigil, 10.00 a.m. and 11.30 a.m. Every year on the feast Assumption the Rosary and Benediction take place at the Stature of Our Lady Queen of Peace at Eden Villas. The statue was erected in 1940 during World War II, to pray for peace. At this most important time, we invite as many as possible of our parishioners and friends to attend on Tuesday at 8.15 p.m., when we will ardently pray for Peace in our troubled world. Stained Glass Restoration Fund: Many thanks to all who contributed to last Sunday’s collection, which amounted to €840. Glasthule 34th Parish Pilgrimage to Lourdes: Departing 30th August 2006.
