7th May Fourth Sunday of Easter

Altar Servers: Our Altar Servers did a wonderful job serving our Easter Ceremonies. We are now recruiting additional servers, boys and girls between 8 and 13 years old, who must be available to serve Mass most Sundays. Please contact Avril Shannon at 2807642.

Stained Glass Window Restoration Fund: There will be a collection TODAY, Sunday 7th May for the Fund.

Annual Collection: The annual collection to support the formation of students for the priesthood for the Dublin diocese , in place of SHARE, will be held at all Masses next Sunday 14th May.

Glasthule 34th Parish Pilgrimage to Lourdes: 30th August 2006. Hotel Gallia and Londres 4 Star, 7 nights full board accommodation € 779 per person (including taxes, insurance and landing fees). Reflective Prayer before the Ble1ssed Sacrament: Every Tuesday 7 – 8 pm. Different theme each week. “I regularly attend the Tuesday Reflective Prayer. It is truly wonderful to experience the Lord refresh and restore me ! In my busy week this is a very special time. It is like going away to a quiet place to rest with Jesus. What a blessing and privilege !” (A Parishioner).

Concert: There will be a chamber music concert here in St Joseph’s on Thursday 11th May at 8 pm, featuring Jakub Garbacz, organist of Lodz Cathedral in Poland, and his wife, flautist Joanna Woszczyk-Garbacz. The admission to this unique event is € 10.

Cake Sale: Sunday 14th May in the Parish Centre after all Masses. The Sunday Saints Choir are off to the Medugorje Youth Festival at the end of July. We need to defray costs of this pilgrimage. Can you please support us ?

Next Coffee Morning: The next Coffee Morning at the end of May for Fr Shay Cullen,, will also be a cake sale and raffle. Anybody who would like to help please contact Angela 086 3172078 or Elizabeth Haskins 2801062.

Apostolic Workers: Meet each Thursday at 2 pm in the Parish Centre. We are very short of a machinist – could you help ?

Please pray for the repose of the souls of Mary Maughan, Dun Laoghaire and Joe Daly, Beaufort. May they rest in peace.
