Trocaire Lenten Campaign: Many thanks to all who have already returned their boxes; those who have not yet done, please return them to the Sacristy by 10 am on Monday 24th April.

St Joseph’s Young Priests Society: The 17th Annual General Meeting of the Glasthule Branch will be held on Friday 28th April 2006, in the Parish Centre, Glasthule. The meeting will commence at 7 pm and visitors will be very welcome.

St Joseph’s Church Choir: Are you interested in singing ? St Joseph’s Church choir celebrate the feast of the Ascension (May 28th) with Bach’s Cantata BMV 37 “He who believes and is baptised, he shall be saved” (Excerpt). We would welcome singers of all voice types to join us to perform the piece during 11.30 Mass. There will be four rehearsals, Thursday evenings 8–9.30 pm in the Parish Centre, beginning on May 4th. Reflective Prayer before the Ble1ssed Sacrament: Every Tuesday 7 – 8 pm. Different theme each week. “I regularly attend the Tuesday Reflective Prayer. It is truly wonderful to experience the Lord refresh and restore me ! In my busy week this is a very special time. It is like going away to a quiet place to rest with Jesus. What a blessing and privilege !” (A Parishioner).

Alzheimer’s Tea Day: a Tea Morning will be held in the Parish Centre after 10 am Mass on Thursday 4th May. Donations of biscuits would be most welcome. Senior Citizens’ Club: reopens on Wednesday next 26th April at 2.30 pm in the Parish Centre. New members welcome.

Apostolic Workers: meet next Thursday 27th April at 2 pm in the Parish Centre. We are very short of a machinist – could you help ?

Clean Coasts – Tidy Towns: Would you like to join the COASTCARE Clean-up on Saturday 29th April ? Meet at 11 am at the Sandycove Baths as part of An Taisce’s Clean Beaches Week-end. Please bring your yard brush ! Further details tel: 2804776

Coffee Shop: Tea/coffee is served in the Parish Centre after 10 Mass, Monday - Friday. Come and meet your friends, you would be most welcome.

An Invitation: ‘Come and see’ Jesus said. Are you stressed, too busy, no time for yourself ? Come and join us on Tuesdays 7 – 8 pm for Reflective Prayer before the Blessed Sacrament and allow Jesus to refresh you and restore your peace. He is waiting for you to come. A special time to pray in the Parish for the Parish.
