Parish Mission 2006: Prayer service before the Blessed Sacrament will take place each day next week in many homes throughout the Parish in preparation for the success of the Parish Mission, which commences in the Church on Monday 27th March and continues until Saturday 1st April inclusive. We ask all Parishioners to pray for the success of the Mission.

Reflective Prayer before the Ble1ssed Sacrament: Every Tuesday 7 – 8 pm. Different theme each week. “I regularly attend the Tuesday Reflective Prayer. It is truly wonderful to experience the Lord refresh and restore me ! In my busy week this is a very special time. It is like going away to a quiet place to rest with Jesus. What a blessing and privilege !” (A Parishioner).

eadings for Lent: A range of Lenten material is now available from the Parish Bookshop – interesting booklets and pamphlets to suit all ages and price ranges. Many new titles. The bookshop is open after Masses on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Come and see – support your parish.

Sacred Space: is the prayer website that helps over 15,000 people a day to pray, while sitting at their computers. Now that Lent had arrived, why not join this huge, world-wide community of believers in giving praise and thanks to God ? Eucharistic Adoration: We could still do with a few more people from 1.00 – 2.30 pm each day. Perhaps you could fill the gap during Lent ?

Senior Citizens Holiday – Knock: 25th to 30th June St Catherine Laboure Holiday Home. There is one twin-bedded room available. Cost Eur 240, booking deposit Eur 50. Contact Sister Imelda in the Parish Centre during the day, or at 2882669 after 7.00 pm.

Glasthule 34th Parish Pilgrimage to Lourdes: 30th August 2006. Hotel Gallia and Londres 4 Star, 7 nights full board accommodation EUR 779 per person (including taxes, insurance and landing fees). Parish Coffee Morning: Sunday March 26th Please join us for a special Mother’s Day treat. Thank you for all your very kind support for the February Coffee Morning (final total Eur 680) for Fr Shay Culllen, Philippine Mud Slide victims.

Pakistan Clothing Appeal: TODAY Sunday 19th Drop off point Presentation College, Glasthule between 11 am and 4 pm. Warm coats, jumpers, blankets, duvets, sleeping bags. Donations are also appreciated for the cost of sending the container.

An Invitation: ‘Come and see’ Jesus said. Are you stressed, too busy, no time for yourself ? Come and join us on Tuesdays 7 – 8 pm for Reflective Prayer before the Blessed Sacrament and allow Jesus to refresh you and restore your peace. He is waiting for you to come. A special time to pray in the Parish for the Parish.

Coffee Shop: Tea/coffee is served in the Parish Centre after 10 Mass, Monday - Friday. Come and meet your friends, you would be most welcome.

Please pray for the repose of the souls of John Morrison, Silchester Park, and Dermot O’Connor, Upper Glenageary Road. May they rest in peace.
