12th Mar - Second Sunday of Lent 17th Mar - St Patrick, bishop, Patron Saint of Ireland 18th Mar - St. Cyril of Jerusalem, bishop and doctor of the Church St Patrick’s Day: Friday is St Patrick’s Day, a holyday of obligation to attend Mass. Masses: Vigil 6.30, 9.00, 10.30, 11.30 and 12.30. Thank You: The collection for the Stained Glass Window Fund last Sunday amounted to € 1,080. Reflective Prayer before the Ble1ssed Sacrament: Every Tuesday 7 – 8 pm. Different theme each week. “I regularly attend the Tuesday Reflective Prayer. It is truly wonderful to experience the Lord refresh and restore me ! In my busy week this is a very special time. It is like going away to a quiet place to rest with Jesus. What a blessing and privilege !” (A Parishioner). Readings for Lent: A range of Lenten material is now available from the Parish Bookshop – interesting booklets and pamphlets to suit all ages and price ranges. Many new titles. The bookshop is open after Masses on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Come and see – support your parish. Sacred Space: is the prayer website that helps over 15,000 people a day to pray, while sitting at their computers. Now that Lent had arrived, why not join this huge, world-wide community of believers in giving praise and thanks to God? Pakistan Survivor Appeal: Clothes for Pakistan collection at Presentation College TODAY Sunday 12th March from 10 am to 4 pm. Warm clothing, blankets, duvets, sleeping bags etc, and donations towards the cost of the container, are needed. Please help the poor people of Pakistan. DunLaoghaire Borough Historical Society: Lecture “New Archeological Discoveries in the DunLaoghaire/Rathdown Area” in the Kingston Hotel, DunLaoghaire, on Wednesday 15th March, at 8 pm. Coffee Shop: Tea/coffee is served in the Parish Centre after 10 Mass, Monday - Friday. Come and meet your friends, you would be most welcome. An Invitation: ‘Come and see’ Jesus said.
