6th Sunday in Ordinary Time 14th Feb - Sts Cyril, monk and Methodius, bishop, Patrons of Europe 17th Feb - St Fintan, abbot ACCORD: The annual collection for ACCORD, The Diocesan Agency for Marriage and the Family, will be made at all Masses next weekend 18th/19th February. The collectiion for ACCORD will replace the usual Share Collection. Greystones Orchestra Winter Concert: Saturday 18th February, 8 pm in St Joseph's Church, with Church Choir, Director David D'Arcy and Organist Ronan Murray. Programme to include Mozart, Bach, Handel, Hayden, Mendelssohn and Schumann. Proceeds to St Joseph's Stained Glass Window Restoration Fund. Tickets € 15 (Concessions € 12) available from Choir members and at the door. Stained Glass Restoration Fund: Many thanks for your contribution to the Stained Glass Window Fund last Sunday, which amounted to € 965. World Day of the Sick: Mass and Anointing for the World Day of the Sick will be celebrated by Archbishop Diarmuid Martin TODAY (Sunday 12th) in St Laurence's Church, Kilmacud, at 3.00 pm. Special provision is being made for those who are sick and everyone is welcome. Eucharistic Adoration: We could still do with a few more people from 1.00 2.30 pm each day. Perhaps you could fill the gap? An Invitation: "Come and see" Jesus said. Are you stressed, too busy, no time for yourself ? Come and join us on Tuesdays 7 - 8 pm for Reflective Prayer before the Blessed Sacrament and allow Jesus to refresh you and restore your peace. He is waiting for you to come. A special time to pray in the Parish for the Parish. Legion of Mary: Preasidium of Our Lady of the Visitation. Works home to home visitation of the sick, elderly and Nursing Homes. Club for Auxillary members meets on Tuesdays 3 to 5 pm, in the Parish Centre (knitting for the Missions). All are welcome. Dominican Past Pupils: The Annual Mass for Past Pupils of Dominican Convent, DunLaoghaire, will be held in the Primary School Hall, Convent Road, on Sunday 19th February at 3.00 pm. All Past Pupils welcome. Sallynoggin College of Further Education: The College will host an Open Day on Wednesday 22nd February from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm. All are welcome to drop in to the College at Pearse Street, Sallynoggin, for information on our extensive range of courses. Tel: 2852997, www.scfe.ie. DunLaoghaire Borough Historical Society: Talk "Shipwrecks around Dublon Bay" by Cormac Louth, in the Kingston Hotel, DunLaoghaire, Wednesday 15th February at 8 pm. Coffee Shop: Tea/coffee is served in the Parish Centre after 10 Mass, Monday - Friday. Come and meet your friends, you would be most welcome. |
