Parish Mission: We would like to tell you again that the Parish Mission, to be given by Fr Tom Hogan, a Redemptorist, will take place from Monday 27th March to Saturday 1st April. Fr Hogan will speak at all the Masses on Sunday 5th February about the Mission.

Scripture Group: The Scripture Group (Lectio Divina) meet every Wednesday night from 8 pm to 9 pm in the Presentation College House, opposite St Joseph’s Church. We use the readings from the Missalette for the following Sunday. We share the readings and try and see what the Lord’s words are saying to each of us. All are welcome, especially readers of the word.

Clothing Appeal: The Society of St Vincent de Paul’s Annual Clothing Appeal takes place on Sunday 29th January. Bags will be handed out this weekend 21st and 22nd January. Please do not bring bags to the Church before Sunday 29th January.

Eucharistic Adoration: Could you not make a New Year resolution to spend some time in prayer? This could be the best New Year resolution you ever made.

An Invitation: ‘Come and see’ Jesus said. Are you stressed, too busy, no time for yourself? Come and join us on Tuesdays 7 – 8 pm for Reflective Prayer before the Blessed Sacrament and allow Jesus to refresh you and restore your peace. He is waiting for you to come. A special time to pray in the Parish for the Parish.

Senior Citizen Club: The Club meets on Wednesdays from 2.30 to 4.00 pm. New members very welcome.

Life Ascending: Meetings take place on Thursdays at 11.00 am. Come and pray for all the needs of the family and the Parish.

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Mrs Nancy O’Carroll, Limerick (sister of Br Majella, Presentation Brothers). May she rest in peace.
