Parish Notes 11th September 2005

Pet Blessing
The annual ceremony of the Blessing of pets will take place during the 11:30am mass on Sunday, 2nd October. All are welcome, including visitors. Last year people came with their dogs from five different counties! The event is always a happy and joyful occasion.

Blackrock Hospice
A coffee morning will be held in aid of Blackrock Hospice on Thursday, 15th September, 11am till 2pm in the Parish Centre.

Stained Glass Window Fund
Thank you for your generous contributions to the collection last Sunday.

Pilgrimage to Knock, Sunday 25th September
Bus departs opposite St. Michael's church, Dun Laoghaire at 8am. Cost 25 euro. Phone Ann Murray 2805039.

Family Mass Group
The Family Mass Group returns to the 10:30.m. Celebration of Mass on this Sunday, 11th September.
Children from 2nd to 6th class meet in St. Joseph's Parish Centre each Sunday at 9:30a.m. Everyone gets an opportunity to participate in the Mass: processing, reading, singing and drama. There will also be social activities throughout the year, including art & craft nights, carol singing, Christmas pageant, etc.
All new members welcome - just arrive Sunday at 9:30am in the Parish Centre.
(New 1st Class members will be welcome to join us in January 2006.)

Sr. Patricia
The Family Mass Group wish Sr. Patricia Millner every blessing in her new parish in Ballally and thank her so much for her loyal support and enthusiastic participation in the parish over many years, particularly with the children in the Family Mass Group.
