Parish Notes 4th September 2005

Feast Days:
Thursday, 8th September: The Birthday of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Friday, 9th September: St. Ciaran, Abbot

Children's Choir:
The children's choir will be back singing at 10:30 Mass from Sunday 11th September.
All primary school children from 1st class onwards are welcome.
Practice takes place from 9:30 am on Sunday for 10:30 Mass.

Sunday Saints Youth Choir:
After the summer holidays the Sunday Saint will be back singing at the 12:30 Sunday Mass from 11th September..
Any boys or girls who have reached 1st year and onwards in secondary school are welcome to join.
Practice is on Fridays at 5pm (starting September 9th).

Blackrock Hospice Coffee Morning:
A Coffee Morning in aid of the Blackrock Hospice will be held in the parish centre on Thursday, 15th September 11am till 2pm.
Please come along. Donations of biscuits for this event will be gratefully received.

Dr. Tom Dooley Fund (Medical Aid to the Third World) Book Sale:
A book sale will take place in the Parish Centre on Saturday, 10th September 10am - 4 pm and Sunday, 11th September 9am - 2pm.
Donations of books welcome - 2801843.

Reflective Hour of Prayer:
Tuesday from 7pm to 8pm.

Legion of Mary:
There will be a night vigil to mark the 84th anniversary of the Legion of Mary on friday, 9th September from 8pm to 2am in St. Nicholas of Myra Church, Francis Street.
