Feastdays Monday, 29 August: The Beheading of St. John the Baptist Saturday, 3 September: St. Gregory the Great, Pope and Doctor of the Church Stained Glass Restoration Fund The monthly collection for the Stained Glass Windows Restoration Fund will take place in the Church grounds on next Sunday, 4 September. The Dublin Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes A collection has been taking place at the morning Masses for the past two weeks or so. This collection is nothing to do with the Parish Pilgrimage to Lourdes. This collection is for funds to help to bring 180 sick pilgrims to Lourdes, also they are trying to replace some of their medical equipment this year. So this Sunday, 28th August, we are concluding this collection at all Masses. All the Parishes in the Diocese have been asked to contribute, we also take this opportunity to thank you for you help in the past. On behalf of the Diocesan Pilgrims, most importantly we ask you to keep the work of the Pilgrimage in your prayers over the coming weeks. Many thanks Cyril Carden Blackrock Hospice A Coffee Morning will be held in aid of the Blackrock Hospice on Thursday, 15 September, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. in the Parish Centre. Please come along. Donations of biscuits for this event would be gratefully received.
