Trinity Sunday Tue 20th May - St Bernadine of Siena, Priest Wed 21st May - Ss Christopher Magallanes, Priest and Companions, Martyrs Thu 22nd May - St Rita of Cascia, Religious Eucharistic Ministers: At 10.15 Mass today we welcome eight new Eucharistic Ministers, Br Majella Burke, Roisín Harkin, Liam Madden, Nuala Moynihan, Nora Neary, George Ramming, Frank Waters and Kathleen Waters who have joined our Parish team of Ministers. We thank them for offering their services to St Joseph’s. Feast of Corpus Christi: Our annual procession will take place on Sunday next, 25th inst leaving the Church at 3:00 p.m. The procession will proceed to Beaufort where Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament will take place. A special invitation is extended to the boys and girls who received their First Holy Communion recently. Stained Glass Restoration Fund: Our monthly Collection for the Stained Glass Restoration Fund takes place after all Masses next weekend. First Holy Communion: Congratulations to all the Girls and Boys of 2nd Class in the Harold School who made their 1st Communion on Saturday last 10th May. Cemetery Sunday: Next Sunday 25th May is Cemetery Sunday in Shanganagh. There will be Mass at 3pm. Dun Laoghaire Historical Society: The Historical Society is holding a Talk on Wednesday next 21st May at 8pm in the Kingston Hotel Dun Laoghaire. The Talk entitled “From Manor Farm to Lidl Store” will be given by Liam Clare. Book Sale: The Book Sale held in the Parish Centre last Sunday for the Dr Tom Dooley Fund raised €715. Thanks to all those who contributed so generously. Coffee Morning: The monthly Coffee Morning will be held after all Masses in the Parish Centre next Sunday 25th May. Proceeds go to The Holy Ghost Fathers. Irish Stillbirth and neonatal Death Society The Annual Blessing of Remembrance will take place in Glasnevin Cemetery on Sunday next 25th May 2008 at 3pm. |
