Pentecost Sunday Mon 12th May - Bl. Edmund Rice, Religious Wed 14th May – St. Matthias, Apostle Thu 15th May – St. Carthage, Bishop Waterford and Lismore Fri 16th May – St. Brendan, Abbot Senior Citizens Knock Holiday: Takes place from 30th May to 5th June staying at St Catherine's Laboure Holiday Home. Cost €380 to include Coach Fare to and from Knock. We still have a few places available. Inquiries Phone Sr Imelda at 2882669. Sr Imelda: Sr Imelda wishes to thank all who have sent cards or inquired about her. She is much better but has to take it easy for the present. Sandycove and Glasthule Residents Association: A.G.M takes place on Thursday next 15th May at St. Paul's Community Hall, (corner of Adelaide Road) at 8pm. Garden and Business awards will be presented. All are welcome. Book Sale: There will be a Book Sale held in the Parish Centre today 11th May from 9:30am - 2pm in aid of the Dr Tom Dooley Fund. Coffee Morning: The monthly Coffee Morning which took place in the Parish Centre last Sunday in aid of Fr Shay Cullen's work in the Philippines, raised €1,100. Thanks to all those who contributed so generously. The Sunshine Fund: The collection for the Sunshine Fund held on Palm Sunday raised €1,081.21. Thanks to all those who contributed to this worth while cause. |
