Second Sunday of Easter Tue 1st April - St. Ceallach, Bishop Wed 2nd April - St. Francis of Paola, Hermit Today is the anniversary of the death of Pope John Paul 11 (2005) Stained Glass Restoration Fund: The monthly collection for the Stained Glass Restoration Fund takes place after all Masses next weekend. Glasthule Youth Choir: The Sunday Saints Glasthule Youth Choir will present “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” today Sunday 30th March at 8 p.m. in St Joseph’s Convent Hall, Tivoli Road Dun Laoghaire. All proceeds will go to our new Pastoral Centre. Tickets €15: Children €12: Tea and Cake included. Telephone 2803067 or 087 615 3420 Blackrock Hospice: The monthly Coffee Morning in aid of Blackrock Hospice will take place after all Masses today in the Parish Centre next to the Church. Please support this very good cause. Trocaire Boxes: All Trocaire Boxes must be returned to the Church not later than next Tuesday 1st April. Thank you for your support. Eucharistic Ministers: April Rosters are now available in the Sacristy. St Joseph’s Young Priests’ Society: The next meeting of the Parish Branch will take place on Friday next 4th April at 7:00 p.m. in the Parish Centre. New members will be very welcome. Lectio Divina: The Scripture Group Lectio Divina will resume at 8 p.m. on Wednesday 2nd April in the Presentation Brothers’ House, opposite St Joseph’s Church. Coffee Shop: The Coffee Shop in the Parish Centre will re-open next Monday 31st March after 10 o’clock Mass. World Youth Day: Emma, Lisa and Davina wish to thank everyone for their kind generosity during their fundraising events throughout the year to raise money to represent our Parish at World Youth Day in Sydney next July. So far they have raised €2850 of the €6000 required. They have planned a few more events for the upcoming months. Notice will be given in advance in the Parish Newsletter. Apostolic Workers: Meet on Thursdays between 2:30 - 4 p.m. in the Parish Centre. New members are always welcome. Senior Citizens Club: Will resume again next Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in the Parish Centre. Recently Deceased: Your prayers are requested for the souls of Dympna Hoey, Beaufort and Joan O’Regan Killiney. May they rest in peace. |
