Fourth Sunday of Lent

Archbishop Martin: The Archbishop. Most Rev Diarmuid Martin, will be visiting our Church next Sunday March 9th. He will concelebrate the 11:30a.m and 12:30p.m. Masses, and meet parishioners after the 10:15a.m, 11:30a.m and 12:30p.m. Masses He will be very welcome on this, his first visit as Archbishop to our Parish. We hope that there will be a large attendance at the Masses.

Stained Glass Restoration Fund: The monthly collection for the Stained Glass Restoration Fund takes place after all Masses this weekend.

Eucharistic Prayer Meetings: Our thanks are due to all those parishioners who responded to our invitation to host a ‘Eucharistic Prayer Meeting’ in their homes during the week Monday 10th to Friday 14th March.

We now invite those Parishioners to attend a ‘Greeting and Welcome’ ceremony in our Church on Tuesday next 4th March at 8.p.m where they will be commissioned as ‘Facilitators’ to conduct a ‘Prayer Service before the Blessed Sacrament’ in their homes.

All Parishioners are invited to attend this ceremony.

Glasthule Youth Choir: The Sunday Saints Glasthule Youth Choir will present “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” on Saturday 29th March, and Sunday 30th March in St Joseph’s Convent Hall, Tivoli Road, Dun Laoghaire. All proceeds will go to our new Pastoral Centre.

Coffee Morning: Last week’s Coffee Morning in aid of Fr McCabe’s Kenya Fund raised €1,545. Angela wishes to thank all those who contributed so generously.

Knock Senior Citizens: Holiday from Friday 30th May to Thursday 5th June at St Catherine’s Laboure Holiday home. Cost €330 plus €50 Coach Fare. If you are interested please contact Sr Imelda in the Parish Centre next to the Church.

St Joseph’s Young Priests’ Society: The next meeting of the Parish Branch will take place on Friday next 7th March at 7:00 p.m. in the Parish Centre. New members will be very welcome.

Table Quiz: St John of God Carmona Services Dunmore House are holding their Annual Table Quiz on Sunday next 9th March at 8:00 p.m in Fitzpatrick’s Castle Hotel Killiney. Tickets: €7.50 each. Four per table.
