Read for Lent: St Joseph’s Parish Bookshop now has in stock a wide variety of material for Lent including Prayers and devotional books from 99c upwards. Authors include Pope Benedict XVI, Cardinal Hume, Fr Jack McArdle and Fr Henri Nouwen. Also – attractive books for children. If we do not have the book you are looking for, we will be happy to order it for you. Support your parish bookshop – all profits go to parish funds.

Trocaire Boxes: Are available on the table at the back of the Church.

Reflective Prayer before the Blessed Sacrament: Every Tuesday 7 – 8 pm.

Dun Laoghaire Borough Historical Society: There will be a talk this coming Wednesday 20th February, at 8 pm in the Kingston Hotel. Subject: “Mount Merrion House & Bygone Days” by Gerard O’Kelly.

Senior Citizen’s Club: We meet every Wednesday between 2:30 and 4 pm in the Parish Centre next to the Church for a cup of Coffee and a game of Bingo.

Legion of Mary: Our meeting is held every Monday at 4 pm in the Parish Centre.

Apostolic Workers: Urgently needed people to help out by machining or hand sewing for the Missions. If you are interested please come along to the Parish Centre any Thursday at 2:30 pm.

Recently Deceased: Your prayers are requested for the souls of Mrs Vera Murphy, Sandycove and Fr Jim Murphy Monkstown. May they rest in peace.
