Christmas Dues: Envelopes are available on the table at the back of the Church.

Presentation Brothers’ Associates: The Presentation Brothers and their Associates joined with the Glasthule parish Pastoral Council to provide the three days of “Waiting in Joyful Hope” during Advent. The Presentation Brothers’ Associates are men and women who meet once a month in the Presentation Brothers’ house. The next meeting is on Monday 28th January at 8pm. It will focus on giving information about the group. There will be a welcome for anyone who attends.

Knitting Group: The Legion of Mary Knitting Group starts again on Tuesday next 15th January from 3pm – 5pm in the Parish Centre next to the Church. New members are very welcome.

Scripture Group: The Scripture Study Group, Lectio Divina will resume on Wednesday next 16th January in the Presentation Brothers’ House opposite St Joseph’s Church at 8pm. All welcome.

Dun Laoghaire Borough Historical Society: Talk “History of Rathfarnham Castle” by Brenda Garven on Wednesday 16th January, at 8pm in the Kingston Hotel, Dun Laoghaire.

St Vincent de Paul Clothing appeal: Appeal is for clean, good quality clothes – bed clothes, curtains, shoes etc. Distribution of Bags on 19th/20th January with Collection on 27th January.

Christmas Dues: It is regretted that Christmas Dues envelopes together with the “Christmas Timetable 2007” were not delivered to many homes in the Parish. Due to time constraints resulting from circumstances beyond our control, we had to abandon our normal delivery practice. A Delivery Service was contracted, shortly before Christmas to carry out the delivery of the envelopes but managed to deliver only a proportion of the envelopes, before Christmas. It is important to state that no blame, attaches to the Parishioners, who usually deliver the Christmas Cards. It is becoming difficult to have sufficient numbers of volunteers to prepare and deliver the Christmas and Easter cards with the Dues envelopes to 2,400 homes. If you are willing to help for Easter please let us know.

Recently Deceased: Ciaran McCann late of Rosmeen Gardens and Fergus Draper of Dundela Park May they rest in peace.
