Thursday next November 1st Mass will be at 7.30 am, 10am and 11.30 am. Stained Glass Restoration Fund: The monthly collection for the Stained Glass Restoration Fund will take place next Sunday 4th November. Flower Arranging: We wish to expand the Group of Ladies who arrange flowers in the Church. A Flower Arranging Course will commence shortly for those interested. It will be held locally and run for 4 weeks. There will be no cost involved. Please leave your name and contact details in the Sacristy after Mass during the week. Dublin Diocesan Vocations Centre: The vocations Icon blessed by Pope Benedict XVI will be present in St Joseph’s Church from tomorrow Monday 29th October for one week. You are invited to pray for vocations to the Priesthood before the Icon during the week. Eucharistic Ministers: You are invited to collect your Roster which is now ready for collection in the Sacristy. Time Out: Thinking about your future? Interested in religious life? Take some “Time Out” for a weekend of reflection and information. Venue: Blackrock, Dublin, 11am Sat. – 2pm Sun. 11th Nov. Accommodation and meals provided. Full details from Brother Andrew Hickey at 01-2300824 or , www.presentationbrothers.com Can Project – Africa: In July 2005 Niamh Murray, soprano, climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania in a fundraising effort for Refugee Trust International. The much needed funds were used to help a number of orphanages for children in Kenya. Thanks to all those who helped in anyway. This year Niamh’s good friend Tess Redmond is off to Benin, West Africa, to teach with the Daughters of the Heart of Mary. Tess is going to help young girls in Benin who have suffered abuses of all kinds. Computer, sewing and needle work skills is what Tess will offer these girls in an effort to help turn their lives around. On Saturday next, November 3rd, at 8pm in St Joseph’s Church, Glasthule, Niamh will be singing in a concert full of musical favourites to raise funds for this worthy cause. She will be accompanied by her brother Ronan. Tickets are €10 at the door. Coffee Morning: In aid of CHILDREN in NEED RTE TELETRON, which takes place this weekend, in the Parish Centre after all Masses today.
