23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time Wed. 12th Sep. Holy Name of Mary, St. Ailbe, bishop Thu. 14th Sep. St John Chrysostom, bishop and doctor of the Church Crosscare: The Annual Collection for Crosscare will be made at all Masses next weekend 15th - 16th Sept. It will replace the normal Share Collection. On behalf of the Catholic Community in the Archdiocese of Dublin Crosscare provides a range of education, care and support programmes to people, and families who are.in crisis, vulnerable and marginalised. Blessing of pets: The annual blessing of pets will take place on Sunday 7th October during 11:30 am Mass. There will be no l2:30 p.m. Mass. Stained Glass Restoration Fund: Last week's collection for the Stained Glass Restoration Fund amounted to €845. Thanks to all those who contributed so generously. Lectio Divina: The Scripture Study Group Lectio Divina will resume on Wednesday September at 8 p.m. in the Presentation Brothers House. All welcome. St Joseph's Tivoli Road: A Garden Fete will be held today Sunday 9th September from 2pm - 6pm. All outstanding raffles from the Horse Show will take place at the Garden Fete. AM Proceeds go to Blackrock Hospice. Senior Citizens Club: Each Wednesday 2.30pm in the Parish Centre. New members are very welcome. Coffee Morning: There will be A Coffee moming in aid of Blackrock Hospice on Thursday 20th September in the Parish Centre after 10 O'clock Mass. Please support this very worthy cause. Donations of biscuits for our Coffee morning can be made beforehand to Sr. Imelda. Recently Deceased: Your prayers are requested for the souls of Mary Faubert, Glenageary, Matt Byrne, Eden Villas, Anne Browne formerly Sandycove Ave. East, Breda Doyle, Villarea Park, Imelda Higginbotham, Sallynoggin and Molly 0'Sullivan Silchester Park. May they rest in peace. |
