Tue 3rd July - St. Thomas, Apostle Stained Glass Restoration Fund: The monthly collection for the Stained Glass Restoration Fund will take place after all Masses today Sunday 1st July. Annual Collection: The annual Collection of Peter’s Pence to support the Holy Father, Pope Benedict XV1 and the Pontifical Charities will be made at all Masses today Sunday. July 1st. It will replace the Share Collection. Harold School: Congratulations and best wishes to the 61 students who graduated from the Harold School on Wednesday night last. Blackrock Hospice: Today Sunday July 1st the gardens will be open to the public from 11am – 5pm. There will be face painting for the children, and lots of other activities. Niamh Murray, the Irish tenors, Jazz musicians and an ensemble group from the Dublin Gospel Choir. Special guest Helen Dillon will be present from 12noon until 5pm to give some fantastic garden tips. Sunflower Collection: Michael and Martin wish to thank all those who contributed so generously to the above appeal for Blackrock Hospice which amounted to €1725. St Joseph’s Young Priests Society: The next meeting will be held on Friday next 6th July at 7.00 p.m in the Parish Centre next to the Church. New members will be welcome! Presentation to Martin McNamara: Martin would like to thank Fr Kennedy and the Special Ministers of the Eucharist for the recent presentation made to him. A big thank you to Sr Imelda and her crew for providing the refreshments. Martin and his family were touched by the number of parishioners who came to the Parish Centre after Mass to wish him well. Lourdes Pilgrimage: We still have a few seats for our 35th Parish Pilgrimage which takes place on August 28th next. For further details check notice at the back of the Church. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament: after the 10am Mass each day to 8pm. More people are needed from 1 – 2:30. Could it be you?
