Corpus Christi Stained Glass Restoration Fund: The monthly collection for the Stained Glass Restoration Fund which took place last Sunday amounted to €1,000.Thanks to all those who contributed so generously. . Mass Times: From 4th June until September there will be no 7:30 a.m. Mass on weekdays St Joseph’s Parish Corpus Christi Procession – Today. The Procession will leave the Church at 3:00 p.m. and will proceed along the usual route to Beaufort where Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament will take place. A special welcome to participate in the Procession is extended to those who recently received their first Holy Communion and to those who received the Sacrament of Confirmation. We ask that homes on the route might have flag bunting or altars displayed and that great reverence to the Blessed Sacrament would be shown by all who take part or look on. Irish Stillbirth and neonatal Death Society: Isands annual Blessing of Remembrance will take place in Glasnevin Cemetery today Sunday 10th June 2007 at 3pm. Parish Bookshop: Fr Shay Cullens’ book ‘Passion and Power is available in the bookshop at the back of the Church. The price is €13, of which €10 goes directly to Fr Shay’s work in the Philippines. Life Ascending: A lay movement of the Church for the Sanctification of Elderly People Life Ascending is an invitation to the retired and those approaching retirement to embrace this way of life and offer, in union with Jesus, in the Passion their lives. Come and pray for all the needs of the family and the Parish. The group meets on Thursday mornings in the Presentation Brothers’ House opposite St Joseph’s Church. Coffee Shop: We are open after 10am Mass until noon in the Parish Centre. Why not drop in for a cuppa and a chat. Recently Deceased: Tom Cox, Rochestown Avenue and Dermot O’Flynn, Rosmeen Park. May they rest in peace. |
