Pentecost Sunday

Mass Times: From 4th June until September there will be no 7:30 a.m. Mass on weekdays.

St Joseph’s Parish Corpus Christi Procession – Sunday 10th June: The Procession will leave the Church at 3:00 p.m. and will proceed along the usual route to Beaufort where Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament will take place. A special welcome to participate in the Procession is extended to those who recently received their first Holy Communion and to those who received the Sacrament of Confirmation.

Diocesan Eucharistic Procession:
Archbishop Diarmuid Martin will lead the 3rd Annual Diocesan Eucharistic Procession in the grounds of Holy Cross College, Clonliffe on Thursday 7 June 2007 at 7.30 p.m. All are welcome to attend this event which will also commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Eucharistic Congress of 1932. There will be a special 50 seat Coach from Glasthule Parish departing from the Church at 5.30 p.m. There will be no stop on the way or on the return journey. Names first should be given to Fr Brían O’Sullivan or handed in to the Sacristy. There will be no charge.

Stained Glass Restoration Fund: The monthly collection for the Stained Glass Restoration Fund will take place after all Masses next Sunday June the 3rd.

Congratulations: To all the girls and boys who made their First Holy Communion and Confirmation recently.

Coffee Morning: Today after all Masses in the Parish Centre next to St Joseph’s Church in aid of ‘Wells in Kenya’.

Blackrock Hospice: Volunteers urgently required to sell Sunflower Pins for Blackrock Hospice on Sunflower Days: 8th & 9th June 2007. If you can spare a few hours to lend a hand please contact Ann on 01 4912510 Office hours (9am – 5pm, Mon – Fri)

Glasthule Summer Project: There will be a Pub Quiz in Fitzgeralds Pub, Sandycove in aid of The Summer Project on Wednesday next 30th May at 8.30p.m. Cost €7.50 per person. Table of 4 €30. Following the Quiz there will be an auction. We also have lots of lovely Spot Prizes. St John of God Carmona Services: The National Showband hits from the fifties to the eightees on Friday next May 25th in The Noggin Inn at 8.00pm. Tickets €20 at the door.

Recently Deceased: Your prayers are requested for the repose of the souls of Joan Hanlon (Beaufort - late of Eden Villas) and Mary O’Toole (Eden Villas). May they rest in Peace.

Annual Mass of Remembrance: The Annual Mass of Remembrance will be celebrated in Shanganagh Cemetery today Sunday 27th May 2007 at 3 p.m.
