Fourth Sunday of Advent

Mon 25th Dec. - The Nativity of Our Lord
Tue 26th Dec. - St. Stephen
Wed 27th Dec. - St. John the Evangalist

Christmas Masses:
Christmas Eve: 6.30 and 10.00 pm.
Christmas Day: 9.00, 10.15, 11.30 am and 12.30 pm.

Christmas Week Masses: St Stephen’s Day to Friday: 10.00 am. The Church will close each day at 12.00 noon.

New Year’s Eve Mass: There will be a special New Year’s Eve Mass at 11.30 pm on Sunday 31st December.

The Feast of the Epiphany: The 6th January is a Holy Day of Obligation. Masses 10.00 and 11.30 am and 6.30 pm. There will be no Vigil Mass on Friday 5th January.

Christmas Day Lunch: The 20th Annual Gala Lunch and Song Contest for people living on their own will be held in the Blackrock College Rugby Club, Stradbrook, from 10.30 am – 3.00pm on Christmas Day. A cake with candles will be blown out to mark the 20th Annual Lunch. Donations of Spot Prizes will be greatly appreciated. Free transport by Ed Kenny Coaches will leave Glasthule Car Park at 11.20 approx. For further information, telephone: 2804776.

C.B.C. Monkstown Rugby Festival: A Past Pupils Rugby Festival will take place at C.B.C. Monkstown Park, on Saturday 30th December 2006, starting at 1.00 pm in the College. This year Tag Rugby (non-contact) will be played. Bring a team or just bring yourself ! Contact Pat Fox at 01 – 2805854. Refreshments and Medical Attention provided. “Move your body again and make it a day to remember” !

Your prayers are asked for the repose of the soul of Nell McMorrow, Rosmeen Gardens, who died recently. May she rest in peace.
