The Parish of Glasthule serves the areas of Glasthule, Sandycove and
parts of Glenageary and Dun Laoghaire. The parish is bounded by
the shore of Dublin Bay to the North, Park Road and Lower Glenageary
Road to the West, Upper Glenageary road to the South and Barnhill Road
and Castle Park road to the east.

5th Week in Ordinary Time
There will be a special collection at all Masses this weekend to contribute to the relief assistance and the reconstruction in Haiti. The special collection will substitute the regular Share collection.
Christian Meditation: The Christian Meditation group meets at 8pm every Tuesday in the Pastoral Centre. Everyone very welcome.
Stained Glass Restoration Fund: The monthly collection for the Stained Glass Fund takes place this Sunday.
Beginning Experience: for Men & Women Separated, Divorced, Widowed. Are you coping? Next Programme starting 10th February to 31st March. on 7 Wednesday evenings in the Community Centre, Whitefriar St, (Aungier St).
Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes: A Mass is being celebrated at the Grotto of the Oblate Fathers, Inchicore, on Thursday next 11th February. Bus leaving Dun Laoghaire +Kill of the Grange at 5:30pm.€10 per person (includes bus, processional candle, tea & sandwiches) must be paid upon booking. World Day of the Sick will be marked in the Dublin Diocese Today Sunday 7th February 2010 with the Celebration of Mass with Anointing of the Sick in the Church of the Good Shepherd, Churchtown, Dublin 14 at 3.00pm. All Welcome.

Lectio Divina: The scripture group Lectio Divina meet each Wednesday at 8pm in the Pastoral Centre. New members will be very welcome
Angela Haskins wishes to to thank all those who supported last week's Coffee Morning in aid of the Haiti Fund which raised €2,900.
Zambian Immersion Project – CBC MONKSTOWN: Today Sunday February 7th two parishioners Eric Goulding and Adam Keane, pupils of CBC Monkstown will be organising a Cake Sale/Book Sale in St Joseph's Pastoral Centre, Glasthule. All the proceeds from the Coffee Dock today February 7th will go towards this worthy cause.
Fundraiser: The Family Mass Group is holding a pre Valentines Disco for 6 to 12 year olds on the 12th February from 7 – 9.30pm in the Pastoral Centre. This disco is in aid of the children of Haiti. Admission €2 per child - also donations will be greatly accepted, which can be given before or on the night. Support the FMG - its a worthwhile venture.
Accord: The ANNUAL COLLECTION for ACCORD, the Diocesan Agency for Marriage and the Family, will be made at all Masses on the weekend of 13th and 14th February 2010. This Collection will replace the usual Share Collection.

Christmas:Lunch: Margaret Browne wishes to thank all those who helped out in any way with the Annual Christmas Lunch held in Blackrock Rugby Club. Just as with previous years it proved a great success.
